  14. As was recently pointed out, HeliosMouse has a bug that prevents you from
  15. being able to move Workbench icons from one disk window to another.  The
  16. uuencoded file at the bottom of this message contains a fix for this problem.

  18. The following paragraph should be inserted in the documentation just before
  19. the paragraph beginning "To remove the input handler ..."
  20.  
  21.    If you are holding down either of the mouse buttons when you move the 
  22.    pointer over a new window, it will NOT become activated.  This is so 
  23.    that you can still drag icons from one window to another, and so that 
  24.    you can pull down menus without changing the active window.  Be sure 
  25.    to press the menu button while it is still within the window whose menu 
  26.    you want to us!  Pop-up menus are better suited to a HeliosMouse-type 
  27.    interface than pull-down menus, but these are not available in Intuition.

  29. I guess you can figure out from that what the fix is.  This makes better sense
  30. for gadgets, menus and other clickable or draggable items, too.

  32. The fix is in Helios-Handler.c (see comp.sources.amiga for the updated source).
  33. The following uuencoded binary replaces the old version of Helios-Handler; you
  34. will not need to replace HeliosMouse itself.
